Overview
Modified polyvinyl alcohol (PVOH) is graded according to different degrees of polymerization, hydrolysis and copolymerization monomers.
The modification of PVA is mainly to use the double bonds, ester groups and the chemical activity of the hydroxyl group after alcoholization of vinyl acetate to change the side chain group or structure, and introduce other monomers to become copolymers dominated by PVA.
General properties
PVOH 728F is a partially alcoholized, low molecular weight polyvinyl alcohol (PVOH) specifically engineered for the production of specialized PVOH grades used in PVA films. The film formed by 728F exhibits exceptional transparency, excellent gas resistance, and remarkable heat resistance to organic solvents. It also demonstrates strong anti-fog performance, high antistatic properties, superior moisture permeability, and good water solubility.
Applications
The 728F is specifically designed for the production of biodegradable PVA films. It can be combined with common PVOH to optimize cost efficiency, as well as used in conjunction with other grades to enhance the overall performance of PVA films.
Package
Packed in 25 kg paper bags.
Storage
PVOH 728F should be stored in a ventilated and dry warehouse, away from direct sunlight and water. It should also be kept away from moisture and fire. The product must be used within 12 months of delivery, but if it is stored for more than 12 months, it is recommended to test before use.
